  Welcome to
Norman Maine Plays!

Dear Directors,
Welcome to Norman Maine Publishing. We are committed to theatre and helping people of all ages appreciate the arts by offering cool, award-winning plays by a wide variety of playwrights including Arthur Reel, Charles Kray, John Tissot, and Richard Krawiec! All our plays are exclusive to Norman Maine Publishing—you won’t find them anywhere else. Thank you for your support and encouragement in 2005!
Best wishes,

We support literacy!

As a former literacy volunteer, I know that plays are a great way to teach reading to adults and children. We will be donating damaged or imperfect scripts to literacy programs across the nation. If you know of any literacy group or organization in need of reading materials, please email us at info@NormanMainePlays.com !

We love trees!

We use Ripasa Magnum Digital premium acid-free paper from Brazil for the interior pages of our scripts. This paper is made from eucalyptus trees—a renewable source! The whole cycle from seedling to mature tree takes only 6 years. The eucalyptus trees used to make Ripasa paper are cultivated on plantations, where one-fifth of the land is environmentally protected to preserve local flora and fauna. This extreme white acid-free paper is also chlorine free!

We welcome submissions!
We welcome submissions from new and established playwrights. If you would like to submit a play, please send a printed copy of your script and a self-addressed stamped envelope to our mailing address. Be sure to include a cover letter, a production history, a list of awards, and a short synopsis of the play. Please do not send scripts via e-mail. Because we give each script careful consideration, please allow 4-8 weeks for response. We look forward to reading your work!
